Hi! I’m Crystal! I am super passionate about food, nutrition and educating others on how to live a more vibrant, cleaner life. I recently moved back to Vancouver, BC from Edmonton, AB, Canada and am happy to be close to family again. I love animals, have a dog who is the love of my life and keeps me entertained.
My health journey has been a progressive one, starting when I was really young I knew my body did not do well with animal products. I stopped eating red meat at a very early age, then dairy in my early 20’s along with white meat, gluten and continued eating eggs and seafood until 6 years ago. At this time, I discovered high-raw plant-based “cooking” as a result of research to boost my immune system as I was constantly getting sick. I thought I was eating healthy but I rarely prepared my food so I was eating a lot of processed food.
I discovered a raw food cleanse package online and knew at that moment that’s what my body needed; I was missing the crucial micro and macronutrients from fresh fruits and vegetables. I fell in love with raw food as I had no idea that food could taste this good and be so beautiful! After the raw food cleanse, I felt so good I decided to stay plant-based and that’s when I found my passion for cooking, creating recipes and educating people on this lifestyle. Since then I have reversed my bad eyesight (now no longer needing glasses) and boosted my immune system.
How I Got Here
Once I experienced healing benefits from food first hand, I knew I wanted to learn as much as I could and share it with the world. In the last 6 years I have completed many courses and read many books on food, nutrition, diets, cleansing and detoxing.

I promote a healthy, sustainable, plant-based diet of whole foods, believe everyone’s body is different and should be on their own health journey. If everyone just incorporated more fresh produce into their diet even at one meal I would be happy 🙂 I quit my full-time corporate job last year to turn my passion into a business so I can help others and educate you how to incorporate healthier foods into your lifestyle.
