Pure Joy Culinary Academy

I recently completed the Advanced Raw Plant-Based Culinary Arts Certification through Pure Joy Academy and it was an amazing experience! I love learning (especially about raw food of course), so when I decided to take my learning up a notch I was excited to see Pure Joy Academy has an Advanced Raw Food Course available online.

In May 2015, I completed the Level 1 course through Matthew Kenney (now PlantLab) so this was a great choice for me.

I’ve completed many Raw Food Courses and this one by FAR was my favorite! Elaina’s recipes are gourmet but not too rich so that you still feel light and energized after eating them. I continuously make the course recipes all the time as part of my daily staples. You have never had raw lasagna until you try Elaina’s lasagna, hands down the best I’ve ever had!

The course included so more information than just recipes, and really focuses on healing and detox with this cuisine which is important. She shares so much knowledge on ingredients, pantry staples, sweeteners etc.; so many raw food courses use ingredients that are unfortunately I would not consume and don’t consider them healthy.
