Tropical Dreamsicle Smoothie

It’s spring and finally nice here in Edmonton, Alberta! It was 19 degrees (Celsius) and sunny here yesterday; such a drastic change from the blizzard we had only two weeks ago! Because the weather was so warm I was craving something refreshing and springy, so I made one of my favorite creamsicle tasting smoothies! With an added boost of vitamin C from Camu Berry Powder, your immune system will love you.

Camu Berry Powder is one my favorite superfoods; why? Because camu-camu berry has 60 times more vitamin C per serving than an orange; just 1 teaspoon has 1180% of your RDI of Vitamin C, and is also a plentiful source of potassium, calcium, protein, beta carotene, amino acids and powerful phytochemicals.  When you are feeling under the weather, be sure to add camu-camu berry to your daily diet.

Coconut Manna (fancy name for coconut butter) adds a perfect blend of creaminess and added nutrient boost!  Coconut Butter has high amounts of lauric acid, helps fight candida because coconut butter is a dense source of caprylic acid, which has anti-fungal properties, and enhances youth properties in the skin by promoting skin elasticity.
